Proud to announce that Buckle & Boots Festival has won the prestigious BCMA (British Country Music Association) award for Best Country Festival 2017.
Buckle & Boots is a country music festival based in the picturesque, Etherow Country Park, on the outskirts of Stockport. For the past couple of years it has hosted the cream of UK Country talent alongside chart topping US Country stars from across the Atlantic, including the likes of Jess & The Bandits, Gary Quinn, Morgan Way, Outlander, Kris Barras, Sonia Leigh, The Southern Companion, Jade Helliwell, Dylan Jakobson, Clara Bond, Ward Thomas amongst many others.
Co-organiser, Karl Hancock has said, “I thought over time it would grow into a huge event…Well even I did not expect the festival to take off this quickly, 4 times as many people attended compared to last year and judging by the demographic of the bookings the festival has at last tapped into the elusive C2C crowd.”
Buckle & Boots has the specific aim of giving the UK country fan a festival that highlights our own UK Country artists and sees them sharing the same stage as top US performers. This year the festival will take place between Friday 22nd June and Saturday 24th June and promises to be another star-studded and incredible line-up to follow on previous years, just as Karl has stated,
“… there is something very special going on here. Buckle and Boots is more than just a Country Music festival it’s more of a happening and you can feel the magic and the love everywhere…”
