HRH DOOM VS HRH STONER ll

Chapter ll of the HRH Doom vs HRH Stoner indoor Festival, will soon be taking over Sheffield. Last years inaugural event was a massive success with metal-heads, with a great line up, stellar performances over two stages, and great organisation by the folks at HRH.

This year the line up has taken a further step up, with securing two massive headliners in Saint Vitus and My Dying Bride.

Saint Vitus from the United States are one of the originators of doom metal, and last years Live, Vo.2 (Marbles in the Moshpit) gives a flavour of how heavy and vital they are live. With Dave Chandler’s monster riffs and Scott ‘Wino’ Weinrich’s trademark bluesy vocals, they are not to be missed.

Bradford’s My Dying Bride are legends in the doom genre, and their music doesn’t shy away from melancholia and grief, and combining both softness and crushing metal. Their live appearances are rare and very special, and a perfect way to conclude the event on the Sunday.

In addition to the headliners, Black Moth from Leeds with their intense stoner riffs, and Harriet Bevan’s striking vocals are sure to be a real highlight. Listen to Blackbirds Fall from The Killing Jar album, to experience the floor shaking nature of their massive riffs.

With many other great doom, sludge and stoner bands over the two days, Chapter ll of HRH Doom vs HRH Stoner, promises to be a stand out metal event in 2017.

HRH DOOM VS HRH STONER takes place at the O2 Academy in Sheffield over the 30th September and 1st October 2017
