Chris Ridgway from outstanding radio show Pure Supernova goes ‘Under the Spotlight’. Chris’ show airs 7pm-10pm on Friday on Pure 107.8FM, and he also hosts the Saturday afternoon show 2pm-6pm. He is also a musician and is currently in a band called, Level 7 Event. What are your top 5 favourite songs? Can only say current – seem to change all the time! Santana – Smooth, Guns n Roses – Dust n Bones, Oasis – Supersonic, Rolling Stones – Brown Sugar, Interpol – All the Rage Back Home.
Who are your top 5 favourite bands/artists? Oasis, Guns n Roses, Led Zeppelin, Augustines, Cage the Elephant. Again, a mixture of current and all time – too many to pick from!!
Who is the greatest rock star of all time? Me, Slash second.

What is your favourite thing about being in the music industry? Always finding new music and meeting people with decent stories.
What’s been your most rock n roll moment to date? Headlining the Cavern Club and bringing a sold out coach along with.
Name one underground/unsigned band that deserves to make it? Level 7 Event
What has been the best gig you’ve attended? My first ever gig with my old band was just at Gullivers – completely packed, crazy night. The other includes sneaking into Slash at the Academy – tiny venue with some of my best mates – one hell of a blag!!
If you’re a musician what is the best gig you’ve ever played? See q9…or 7…or playing with Rodger Wylde and Tom Bennett, albeit impromptu and terrible quality, yet still onstage with a couple of personal heroes.
If you could perform at any venue in the world where would it be? Leeds Festival Main Stage.
